The Albert Lea Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place Sept. 14 in Frank Hall Park. According to a press release, nearly 200 people from the Albert Lea area attended the inaugural walk and more are expected at this year’s event to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer’s disease.
Volunteers are needed for many roles to plan and execute the 2019 walk.
Meetings take place from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month beginning in February at Thorne Crest Senior Living Community. Meetings will run through October. For more information, contact Debbie Eddy at 507-289-3950 or email debby@alz.org.
