1. The Elvis Show

Prepare to meet the King at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Marion Ross Performing Arts Center. The Elvis Show is a tribute that spans several Elvis eras, including his hits, his movies, his gospel and his Vegas years. Prepare to also hear music from some of the greats of the same timeline, including Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis.

2. Archery tournament

If the start to the next statewide archery hunting season looks too far away, your consolation hunt is indoors Saturday and Sunday. The Full Draw Archery Club is hosting another 3-D tournament in its home upstairs in the Knutson building on South Newton Avenue. The tournament includes 3-D animals at unmarked distances, three moving rails and pop-up targets. Attend from 1 to 8 p.m. Saturday or 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

3. Open house and art sale

The Albert Lea Art Center is marking its sixth decade of showcasing the arts in southern Minnesota. To celebrate this milestone, the Art Center is hosting a special anniversary reception. This reception, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, will happen in conjunction with the opening of the Merna Sunde gallery show and sale. The event includes door prizes.

4. Pheasants Forever banquet

Celebrate habitat conservation and conservation education at the annual South Central Minnesota Pheasants Forever Banquet. The 26th annual banquet is Saturday at Chevrolet of Albert Lea and will include games, an auction and raffles. Among others, prizes include hunting and fishing trips and a Pheasants Forever membership. Social hour begins at 5 p.m. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. Get ticket information at 507-383-4458.
