An Employee Development Funding Pipeline Program lunch and learn is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 27 at St. John’s Lutheran Community on Fountain Lake facility.

The Minnesota Pipeline Program is an approach to address current and future workforce needs, according to a press release. The program works with employers to change the conversation from “How do we find workers with the skills we need?” to “How do we give workers the skills we need?” Their focus is on management and supervisory positions in the areas of agriculture, manufacturing, health care services and information technology.

The event will host guest speakers from Minnesota Department of Labor, Workforce Development, Riverland Community College and McNeilus Steel.
