Iowa man injured in Freeborn County rollover

An Iowa man was injured Sunday when the vehicle he was driving rolled into the median in snowy and icy conditions on Interstate 90, one mile west of the Minnesota Highway 13 exit.

William James Roeder, 19, of Buffalo Center, Iowa, was taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea with at least one injury deemed not life-threatening.

Roeder was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger west on I-90 when it left the roadway and rolled into median at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to the report, Roeder was wearing his seat belt and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Albert Lea Police Department, Albert Lea Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance assisted on scene.
