Jan. 22 marked the 46th anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade decision by the Supreme Court, which legalized abortion in America. Since then, nearly 61 million unborn babies have been killed.

Perhaps an even greater casualty than the death of a baby is the death of truth itself when it comes to the arguments surrounding this issue. Jesus Christ, the Son of God himself said, “He, (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks in character, because he is a liar, and the father of lies.” (John 8:44)

I would submit to you that Planned Parenthood and its minions in the abortion industry, spend millions of dollars annually to lobby and sell themselves to the public as purveyors of women’s health. What is not well known, is the fact that they killed 321,384 babies in fiscal year 2016-2017, making them the largest abortion provider in the nation by far.

In 1973, I believe the Supreme Court blatantly lied when they wrote, “We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins.” That life begins at fertilization was already a well-known and undisputed fact in 1973. The late and renowned French physician and geneticist Dr. Jerome Lejeune wrote, “The genetic makeup of a human being is complete from the moment of fertilization: Not a single scientist doubts it.”

All people of faith and goodwill have the critical responsibility of calling these people out and exposing them for who and what they are. Do not be like the Roman governor Pontius Pilate who, while staringtruth itself in the face, asked the haunting question, “What is truth?” (John 18:38)

No matter how much our society and the powers that be try to diminish the truth about the despicable evil of abortion, we need to unmask it at every turn and not rest, until, like slavery, it is finally relegated to the ash heap of history. Above all, pray for the babies, the mothers, our government officials and those who work in the abortion industry. Together let us help to build a society where all life is welcomed and protected from natural conception until natural death.
