The Met: Live in HD showing has been rescheduled for an opera intended for March 2 due to satellite problems.

According to Eileen Nelson Ness, local coordinator for the showings, the equipment used to receive Met transmissions needs to be redirected, but due to the amount of snow and ice on the roof of Marion Ross Performing Arts Center, the roof has not been accessible to do so.

The performance, “Daughter of the Regiment,” will instead be shown at 11:55 a.m. April 27 at Marion Ross Performing Arts Center as an encore performance.

Nelson Ness said she hopes to still have the live transmission of the March 30 opera, “Die Walkure” by Richard Wagner.
