Albert Lea Area Schools will host its kindergarten registration from 2 to 6 p.m. March 26 in room 109 at Brookside Education Center, 211 W. Richway Drive. Parents are asked to bring a copy of their child’s birth certificate, which will be kept in their child’s records.

Children must be 5 years of age by Sept. 1 to be eligible for kindergarten. According to a press release, every child who registers will receive a free book.

No child care will be provided during the event.
