Provenio Consulting will offer American Heart Association Heartsaver first aid and CPR training.

According to a press release, the classes will be taught by Tim Harves, who has been an AHA basic life support instructor for 10 years. He has taught CPR and first aid courses in both the public sector and the private sector — from first responders and nurses to industry safety teams. 

Harves has 18 years of experience as an emergency medical technician and is a full-time police officer. In the past, Harves has also worked as an emergency medical technician on a full-time advanced life support ambulance service. He has responded to medical emergencies in his community for two decades and is passionate about teaching others the principles and techniques of basic life support, the release states.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation classes offered include basic life support — formerly known as CPR for healthcare providers, Heartsaver CPR/AED for adults, children and infants, CPR/AED, infant CPR, first-aid and blood borne pathogens. All CPR courses include instruction on automated external defibrillators and relief for choking.
