Highway 65 in Albert Lea is closed in both directions from Garfield Avenue to South Broadway because of water on the road, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Highway 65, also known as Main Street, could remain flooded for days.

According to MnDOT, it’s likely conditions could worsen at Fountain Lake as above-freezing temperatures continue to melt snow. Motorists should follow the detour.
