Break-ins, thefts reported

A car was reported broken into at 7:32 a.m. Friday at 421 St. Peter Ave. The break-in took place sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7:20 a.m. Friday. Approximately $700 worth of things in the car were reportedly stolen, including a laptop.

A car was reported broken into at 9:58 a.m. Friday at 1214 Sheridan St.

Police received a report at 2:22 p.m. Friday of two males breaking out windows in some vehicles behind the building at 1018 S. Broadway. The males, who were juveniles, were located and their parents were spoken to. The police log indicated charges were pending.

A burglary was reported at 8:04 p.m. Friday at 1202 E. 18th St. Two Playstation 4 game consoles were stolen, and damage was reported to the back door.

Two generators were reported stolen off of an RV at 8:17 a.m. Sunday at 319 Court St.

A power wheel was reported stolen from a garage at 3:55 p.m. Sunday at 409 Court St.

A burglary was reported at 5:17 p.m. Sunday at 201 E. Pearl St.

Police received a report at 11:54 p.m. Saturday of a man who reportedly went to smoke outside his house at 1807 Brookside Circle and found a man in his garage. The man reportedly pushed him out of the way and then ran off. The man was unable to be found.

 

Man arrested on warrant

Police arrested Randy Leon Rippentrop, 58, on a local warrant at 11:51 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Court Street and Euclid Avenue.

 

Counterfeit check reported

A counterfeit check was reported at 4:14 p.m. Friday at US Bank, 331 S. Broadway.
