The Retired Educators of Albert Lea will meet at noon Thursday at the American Legion. According to a press release, the program will feature a popular topic among seniors — downsizing.

Three former teachers and staff members of District No. 214, David Paschka, Lois Palmer and Judy Mullen, will tell of their experiences downsizing and provide a few valuable suggestions for those thinking that it is time to  shed themselves of stuff no longer needed.

Those who have not been contacted and would like to attend may call Ann Berry at 373- 6004 to make a reservation. Those who need to cancel their reservation should call Berry before 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Barry will call the restaurant with the final count. All retired school personnel  and visitors are welcome.  A drawing for a free meal will take place at the end of the meeting.
