First District Rep. Jim Hagedorn, R-Minnesota, announced he will embark on a town hall event tour across southern Minnesota over the next year.

According to a press release, Hagedorn will host at least one town hall in each county of Minnesota’s 1st District. The district is comprised of 21 southern Minnesota counties, stretching from South Dakota to Wisconsin, and along the Iowa border. Local county residents will be given priority to ask questions.

“It’s an honor to serve the fine folks of southern Minnesota in Congress,” said Hagedorn. “My priority is to stay connected with constituents by meeting with residents in our Washington office, as well as traveling the district and attending community events, visiting business(es) and farms and shaking hands on our Main Streets. I especially look forward to hearing directly from constituents during our upcoming town halls.”

Hagedorn’s town hall events will begin in early June. Specific details will be posted on hagedorn.house.gov.
