The Rice County Historical Society will host a fundraiser June 8 at the Faribault American Legion.

According to a press release, there will be a dinner, a silent auction, raffle and entertainment by Jumpin’ at the Woodside. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the band will begin at 7 p.m.

Jumpin’ at the Woodside is a local band out of the Lonsdale/New Prague area that is often featured at Montgomery’s Kolacky Days.

All proceeds will support the Rice County Historical Society’s ongoing programs and activities and help continue to preserve the rich history of Rice County and to share history with the community.
