Jennifer Hoyt and Charles Makowsky of Albert Lea announce their engagement.

The bride is the daughter of Bryan Gullickson of Austin and Julie Gullickson of Albert Lea. She is a 1997 graduate of Faribault Senior High School and a 2013 graduate of Riverland Community College. She is an insurance agent.

The groom is the son of the late Louis Makowsky and Donna Makowsky. He is a 2004 graduate of Denfield Senior High School. He is employed at Lou-Rich.

A summer wedding is planned.
