Albert Lea Civic Music will present the 2018 scholarship recipients in the annual scholarship recital, according to a press release.

The recital takes place at 6 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church of Albert Lea.

Each year, through  the Jerdet and Wipplinger Scholarship Fund,  scholarships are awarded through an audition for summer music camps for students in seventh through 12th grades, for students in sophomore through senior years of college, and piano and organ lessons for students in the Albert Lea and Wells school districts and adults in Freeborn County.

Students who will perform in this recital will be Emma Tewes, Emma Barclay, Trinity Johnson, Michael Minear, Abbie Teusch, Lydian Jacobusse and Emelia Lou Jacobs.  The recital is open to the public and a reception follows.
