The Albert Lea boys’ track and field team competed in the Section 1 AA true team meet in Winona Tuesday night.

The top performer of the meet was junior Janyjor Ruei, who won three individual events in the 110-meter hurdles (15.66), the 300-meter hurdles (42.14) and the triple jump (44-03). Ruei’s attempt of 44-03 in the triple jump set a new Albert Lea school record. He also took home a fourth-place finish in the high jump with an attempt of 5-10.
