Country artist, songwriter and entertainer Casi Joy will perform from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday during Thursdays on Fountain. The event takes place at the gazebo at Fountain Lake Park in Albert Lea.

Joy is a vocalist from Kansas City, Missouri, who gained the attention of America with her four-chair-turning blind audition on season 12 of “The Voice.”

Her mother is from Albert Lea and her grandparents still live in the community.

Thursdays on Fountain is a weekly event during the summer at the gazebo at Fountain Lake Park.

The event is free and open to the public.

According to a press release, concert-goers are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs or pull their boat up to the shore to listen to the music.

Food and beverages are available for sale at the event.

Thursdays on Fountain is a collaboration between the city of Albert Lea, the Albert Lea Convention & Visitors Bureau and Freeborn County.
