DeeAnna Ashpole, 59, of Hensel, North Dakota, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, North Dakota, after a short but brave battle with cancer.

DeeAnna was born Sept. 6, 1959, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Roger and Bernice (Conley) Ashpole. She graduated from Milton High School in North Dakota in 1977.

DeeAnna was a caring person who always thought of others before herself. DeeAnna loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Her other great loves were for animals, birds and flower gardening.

DeeAnna will be greatly missed but never forgotten by her mother, Bernice; siblings Peggy (Ramon) Dunford, Scott (Suzie) Ashpole and Steve Ashpole; and her beloved eight nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and sister-in-law, Luann.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. June 22 at Bonnerup Funeral Service. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery.
