Duplicate Bridge

Duplicate Bridge was played by 13 teams May 21 at the Senior Center in Austin. Winners were Loren Cleland and Dave Ring, first place; John Leisen and Rick Stroup, second place; Gail and Ray Schmidt, third place; Theresa Baldus and Harriet Oldenberg, fourth place; Larry Crowe and Bill Momsen, fifth place; and Edna Knobbe and Kathy Leisen, sixth place.

Duplicate Bridge was played at five tables May 22 at the Senior Center in Austin. Winners were Julie Prochnow and Lorraine Quinlivan, first place; Larry Crowe and Jim Fisher, second place; Tom Flaherty and Stan Schultz, third place; and fourth place, Gail and Ray Schmidt. The game was so tight that three teams all tied for fourth, fifth and sixth place; 

Duplicate Bridge is played at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays and at noon Wednesdays. Players come from Adams, Austin, Albert Lea, Rose Creek, Northwood and Mason City. All bridge players are welcome to come and play. Those who need a partner can call 437-2750.
