Senior Resources’ Family Caregivers Network will offer a caregiver support group at 2 p.m. Thursday.

According to a press release, those caring for an adult — possibly someone physically frail or living with Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s, whether parent, spouse or neighbor, at home or in alternate housing — the group offers support and encouragement. The group is open to any area caregiver, and meets in the boardroom at the new St. John’s Lutheran Community on Fountain Lake. Future meetings will be in the same location, on the second Thursday of each month.

Senior Resources will have caregiver support groups at 1:30 and 3 p.m. July 18 at Thorne Crest Senior Living  Community. Caregivers are welcome there each month on the third Thursday.
