Crash victim now in serious condition

The 18-year-old man who was ejected from a motor vehicle during a vehicle rollover Monday night is now listed in serious condition, according to a Mayo Clinic spokeswoman. Colton Uthke was flown to St. Marys Hospital after the crash.

 

Fraudulent checks reported

Police received a report at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday of checks from Clear Lake that were cashed in Albert Lea over a year ago.

 

5 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Eddy De Los Santos, 50, on two local warrants at 10:31 a.m. Tuesday at 408 S. Broadway.

Police arrested Jose Hipolito Solano, 45, on local warrants at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday at 1715 S.E. Marshall St.

Police cited Oscar Paul Delossantos Jr., 23, on a Washington County warrant at 8:08 p.m. Tuesday at 1005 James Ave. after a male reportedly took off on bike from an officer on a bike.

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Branden Neil Torgerson, 24, on a warrant after a traffic stop at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Freeborn County Road 46 and 690th Avenue, west of Albert Lea.

Robert Lee Suniga, 36, turned himself in on a local warrant at 4:46 a.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway.

 

Damage reported

A vehicle was reported keyed at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a field that was damaged at 32718 Minnesota Highway 13 in Hartland. Some damaged car parts were left behind.

 

Break-ins, theft reported

A vehicle was reported broken into at 11:56 a.m. Tuesday at 210 E. Front St.

Tools were reported stolen at 1:13 p.m. Tuesday at 207 E. Fourth St.

A bike was reported stolen at 3:49 p.m. Tuesday at 1223 James Ave.
