First, a personal story. My grandfather, Emil Hennemann, retired from the St. Cloud Post Office just short of 50 years of service. He retired as the administrator of the office. Today, I think it is called postmaster.

We have yet another letter from the Republican Party (GOP) leadership demonizing locals. Last time, it was school teachers and this time postal workers. 

The letter writer is about my age, so he likely receives benefits created by American socialism, like Social Security and Medicare. If the writer is accepting these benefits, then by definition he is a socialist. Yet, he attacks socialism. Critically thinking through things beforehand helps to understand what you are writing about.

What local group will the local GOP leadership demonize next?
