Juvenile arrested after making threats with machete
Police arrested a juvenile for second-degree assault and domestic assault at 3:48 p.m. Thursday after he reportedly threatened his family with a machete.
Juvenile cited for tobacco device
A juvenile was reportedly cited for an electronic tobacco device at 11:51 a.m. Thursday.
3 arrested on warrants
Police arrested John Anthony Garza, 39, on local warrants at 12:04 p.m. Wednesday at 411 S. Broadway.
Police arrested Cassandra Ann Vander Woude, 41, on a Mower County warrant, fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and driving after revocation at 10:07 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Interstate 90.
Police arrested Melissa Marie Eicher, 27, on a warrant after a traffic stop at 12:57 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Fountain Street and St. Mary Ave.
Police arrested Tyler Anthony Hall, 35, on a local warrant at 4:28 p.m. Thursday at 1010 Fountain St.
Break-ins reported
Vehicles and a garage were reported rummaged through at 7:50 a.m. Thursday at 236 W. Main St. in Alden. Money was taken.
A garage was reported broken into at 6:28 p.m. Thursday at 406 Fifth Ave. in Freeborn. Money was missing from a car.
Car wash machines were reported broken into at 9:39 p.m. Thursday at 100 S. Central Ave. in Hollandale.
Boats rummaged through
A pontoon was reported rummaged through at 11:10 a.m. Thursday on Fountain Lake. A depth finder valued at $400 and an orange floating box with miscellaneous items and tools were missing. A white fire extinguisher, three fishing poles and other items not belonging to the pontoon owner were left behind.
A second pontoon was reported rummaged through at 12:02 p.m. Thursday.
2 arrested for burglaries
Police arrested Tricia Ann Gregerson, 39, for burglary, attempted theft of prescription drugs and trespassing at 2:11 p.m. Wednesday.
Police arrested Arsenio Broderick Hanson, 30, for felony burglary at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at 1611 S.E. Broadway.
Damage reported
Vehicles were reported egged on Third Street Southwest and Paul Hanson Drive in Clarks Grove overnight Wednesday.
A smashed mailbox was reported at 7:47 p.m. Thursday at 200 E. Park Ave. in Hollandale.
1 arrested for DWI
Deputies arrested Nathan David Oldenburg, 36, for second-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal and open container violation at 7:43 p.m. Thursday at 102 Freeborn County Road 45.
1 arrested for violation
Police arrested Tramale Tremond Pitchford, 18, for a domestic abuse no contact order violation at 9:07 p.m. Thursday at 2019 E. Main St.
Vandalism reported
Spray-paint vandalism was reported on several concrete structures in the park at 9:04 a.m. Wednesday at 100 Fountain St.
Graffiti was reported on an electrical box near the intersection of St. Mary Avenue and Washington Avenue at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday.
A car was reported spray-painted at 3:16 p.m. Thursday in the alley behind 425 Columbus Ave.
Thefts reported
Police received a report of someone’s mail being stolen at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday at 1205 Crestview Road.
A gas drive-off was reported at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday at 1820 Margaretha Ave.
Police cited Leonte’ Carvell Ray for theft at 9:10 p.m. Thursday from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
