Thefts reported

A mountain bike was reported stolen at 2:24 p.m. Thursday at 204 E. Front St. The theft reportedly took place sometime Saturday or Sunday.

A lawnmower valued at $65 was reported stolen at 4:41 p.m. Thursday from 625 E. 16th St. The theft reportedly happened between Monday and Thursday.

 

Scam reported

Police received a report of a person who was the victim of a scam at 3:25 p.m. Thursday in Albert Lea. The victim reportedly wired money to the Dominican Republic.

 

Vehicle damaged in hit-and-run

A hit-and-run crash in a parking lot was reported at 4:49 p.m. Thursday at 904 Plaza St. About $300 in damage was reported.

Damage was reported to the door at the Edgewater Cottage at 8:36 p.m. Thursday at 1600 Edgewater Drive.

 

Suspicious person seen near church

Police received a report of a suspicious person who was reportedly walking around Grace Lutheran Church and looking in windows with a flashlight at 11:04 p.m. Thursday at 918 Garfield Ave.
