Our renovations at Hammer Field Complex will provide Albert Lea with one of the finest stadiums in the Big Nine Conference. We have already hosted two soccer games and look forward to the varsity football game on Friday. Halverson Elementary has added a secure entrance and a new full-size competition gymnasium. We are also renovating space at Brookside Education Center to open a district day care facility later this fall. Work on our varsity softball field and sub-varsity soccer and baseball fields at the Hammer Complex will continue throughout this school year in preparation for competition in 2020-21.

Academically we will continue our continuous path toward excellence.  During the 2018-19 school year, our district was named to the Advanced Placement Honor Roll. We also were named a Best Community for Music Education. This year we will tie a number of our school improvement initiatives together under the framework of High Reliability Schools.

Albert Lea Area Schools offers quality programs in academics, arts and athletics, and our facilities are unmatched. Please come and check us out!

Go Tigers!
