Matt Griggs opens the resumption of this season’s Civil War Round Table series, the first of at least nine coming monthly presentations, with “The Siege Of Vicksburg.” It is scheduled for Thursday at 7 p.m. in the media center of Southwest Middle School in Albert Lea. This event is free and open to the general public. A discussion and the traditional drawing for a free book on Civil War history will be held at the conclusion of his presentation.
