In response to Don Sorenson’s Sept. 12 letter to the editor, I have two questions.

In what universe would a fair and just God send a proven serial liar to save a society from itself?

From what evils is our narcissistic and vindictive president protecting us? Free and civil discourse? Tolerance for those different from him in any way?

Invoking religion into politics is indeed a slippery slope. I propose we not go there.
