The Civil War Roundtable participants are to meet on at 7 p.m. Thursday in the media center of Southwest Middle School. The topic is the “Battle of Antietam,” to be presented by Jim Rutledge. Rutledge will also show a film on that pivotal battle fought so near the Battle of Gettysburg in time with a discussion following. The traditional drawing for a free book of Civil War history and its players will be held just before adjournment. This event, as with all the Civil War Roundtable events, welcomes the general public and is free.
