Central Freeborn Lutheran Church will host its annual soup and dessert supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday. Homemade soups will include wild rice, chili, potato and chicken noodle. There will also be gluten-free soup, bread and desserts, according to a press release.

Proceeds will benefit Sue Mickelson of Merrill’s Popcorn, who is waiting for a kidney transplant, and the construction fund for Prairie River Camp, Youth for Christ in Bricelyn. Supplemented funds will be provided by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

Those who plan to attend are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support local food shelves.

The cost of a supper will be $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and children 5 and under are free.
