Woman cited after crash and other reports

Burglary reported

A residence was reported broken into at 12:57 p.m. Monday at 406 Court St. The burglary reportedly happened earlier in the day. Estimated loss was over $20,000.

 

Thefts reported

A debit card was reported stolen at 3:06 p.m. Monday at 1318 E. Main St. It had reportedly been used at multiple locations between Albert Lea and Austin.

A black Trek 820 bike was reported stolen at 7:43 p.m. Monday at 609 E. Main St.

 

Woman cited after crash

An Albert Lea woman was cited for a semaphore violation after a crash Friday morning at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Sykes Street.

Janis Doreen Roche, 64, of Albert Lea was driving a 1998 Chevy Venture north on Bridge Avenue at 11:45 a.m. Friday when she reportedly ran a red light and drove into the path of Carmen Diaz Stenhovden, 79, of Albert Lea, who was driving a 2005 Buick LaSabre west on Sykes Street and turning south onto Bridge Avenue.

Roche was reportedly taken to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea by Mayo Clinic Ambulance for a suspected minor injury.

She was cited for the violation.

 

Man turns himself in on warrant

Nathan Lloyd Rehbein, 32, turned himself in on a local warrant at 10:10 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway.

 

Woman arrested on violation

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Athena Alizabeth Berg, 26, on a probation violation at 4:02 p.m. Monday at 411 S. Broadway.

 

Juvenile cited for marijuana

A juvenile was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 12:17 p.m. Monday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.
