Letter: Trump is nothing but a showman

Have you heard a Trump supporter say they voted for Trump because he says what he means? We know that they have spent the last two years saying he didn’t mean what he said. Good examples are his building a wall on that Mexican border and that he was going to make Mexico pay for it. He said he was going to do away with Obamacare, and he had a better health system for the American people. Trump also said he was going to reduce the deficit. Instead, it has gone up. Trump is a showman, and, in my opinion, weak-minded people love to be entertained.

If Trump ever gets that 30-foot-high wall built that would cover 3,000 miles, it will be deemed useless because I would bet there is someone down there on that southern border who is smart enough to invent a 30-foot ladder and get hold of a 30-foot rope to go over that fence.

Does anyone think I am not the most hated person in Albert Lea by those far-right Republicans? I was told lately that at a Republican caucus in Albert Lea my name was mentioned more than the person running for office. I couldn’t help but get a swelled head when I heard this. It tells me that I am doing a good job.  If I didn’t make so much common sense, they wouldn’t be bothered a bit when they read my comments.

Trump was in Minnesota this month. This is so shameful to me that he come to my home state and held a rally. I couldn’t believe there were so many people in Minnesota who I think are weak-minded who showed up for that rally.

I am still bragging. I didn’t vote for Trump.
