What on earth is happening to the Democratic Party? The temper tantrum of 2016 continues at full froth! Not able to cope with the choice that 65 million fellow Americans made in electing Donald J.Trump, they have now resorted to an endless barrage of witch hunts and conspiracy theories to have him removed from office.

My advice would be to all Democrats: Pick a candidate who you think has a chance of beating Trump in 2020, and let the chips fall where they may. Maybe the leaders of the Democratic Party are acutely aware that the current field of candidates for president have as much chance of beating Trump as the Twins have of ever beating the Yankees in the post season. In my view, this is exactly why we are seeing the push for impeachment. Get him out of there so we don’t have to run against him and lose. News flash: Groundless impeachment attempts are not a platform to run a successful campaign on.

How about trying the old-fashioned way? Share your beliefs on issues important to the lives of the people you serve, and then allow them to choose the next president. Trump will win because that is exactly what he has been doing since he was elected. The Democrats? Within one hour of losing the 2016 election, the clarion call went out to destroy and impeach Trump. How’s that been working out so far?
