MINNEAPOLIS — Two brothers are accused of luring a man to a Bloomington home and killing him before disposing of his body in a St. Paul suburb.
Twenty-six-year-old Skylar Labarge and 32-year-old Preston Sharlow are charged with second-degree murder in the death of 29-year-old William Albrecht of Minneapolis.
Authorities believe the brothers lured Albrecht to a home in Bloomington on Nov. 15 and kicked and stomped on him. Albrecht’s body was found nearly two weeks later in Woodbury.
Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said the attack stemmed from Sharlow’s and Albrecht’s romantic involvement with the same woman. The Star Tribune reports the woman initially was arrested and then cleared of any involvement.
Sharlow is accused of posing as the woman and using her phone to lure Albrecht to her house.
Bail for the brothers is set at $1 million each. They are due in court Tuesday.
