Thank you to all who attended the Food for Backpacks soup and sundae fundraiser last Sunday at Hayward Lutheran Church. Our church partners with seven other area churches to assist with food insecurity on weekends for District 241 students. According to Julie Drommerhausen, program volunteer and Grace Lutheran Church member, over 420 students are served between the middle school and four elementary schools.
