Letter: Why do people believe Trump?

When you see a Trump rally, what does it remind you of? I will tell you what it reminds me of. Do you remember Jim Jones down in South America or Dave Koresh down in Waco, Texas? These were cult leaders who led people around like a herd of sheep. Do you remember when Trump was running for president when he would ask his sheep who is going to pay for that wall on the Texas border? All of his sheep hollered, “Mexico.”

This should have been a telltale sign of who this man is. Remember when he said he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue in New York City and his popularity would go up? These are words of a cult leader. Can you believe that there are so many people who can’t see through him? Just watching him give a speech, anyone with common sense can figure out what a conartist he is. Those who say they can’t see, don’t want to see it. They will make up every excuse they can think of to make him look good. All anyone has to do is watch Fox News and see this. Trump says he used to be a Democrat. I don’t believe this. The Democrats would have never let him in the door at one of their caucuses. I have heard a lot of Trump’s sheep say that they used to be Democrat but switched to vote for Trump. No good Democrat would ever switch to vote for the likes of him.  The reason they say they switched is to copy their cult leader. I call these people copycats. I was informed lately that someone went down in Texas and saw a sign that read if you want to get the best welfare you go to Albert Lea, Minnesota. There is no doubt this sign was put up by one of my Republican fans. Anyone with common sense knows the best welfare state is California. This information absolutely put another feather in my hat.

I am still bragging. I didn’t vote for Trump.
