The upcoming Civil War Roundtable event will be meeting Thursday, commencing at 7 p.m. in the media center of Southwest Middle School. The topic is about the Dakota War of 1862 as the Civil War was in full swing, presented by Lanny Witter. The traditional drawing for at least one free book will be held at the conclusion of the event, which is free to the public.
