A 51-year-old Illinois man was injured Monday night when his vehicle went into the ditch and rolled on Interstate 35 south of Albert Lea.

Hunbrto D. Catalan of Lansing, Illinois, was taken by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea for injuries deemed not life-threatening.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Catalan was driving northbound on I-35 near milemarker 6 in a 2020 IHC Penske truck, when he went off the road, into the ditch and rolled. The interstate was covered in snow and ice.

Catalan was wearing his seat belt, and alcohol was not a factor, reports stated.
