Contractor’s seminar to take place in Albert Lea

The city of Albert Lea Inspection Department will present “Analysis of Changes of the 2012 to the 2018 International Residential Code” with one hour on Minnesota Residential Energy Code 2020 contractor continuing education training, according to a press release.

The one-day presentation will address changes from the 2012 through the 2018 IRC. Included will be the current 2012 language and changes to the 2015 IRC, which is integrated into the 2018 IRC. The seminar has been approved by the state of Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for seven hours of continuing education credits for residential contractors, remodeling and roofers license renewals.

The program will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club, 2200 W. Ninth St. in Albert Lea. There will be  two 15-minute breaks with a 60-minute lunch break.

The registration fee is $65 per person. To register for the seminar, submit the registration form along with the $65 registration fee payable to the city of Albert Lea to the city of Albert Lea Inspection Office, Attention Cierra, 221 E.
