Donations made to food shelves

- Rick Christenson, founder of God’s Blessings based in Wells, donated about 500 pounds of ham and a variety of luncheon meats to the Albert Lea Salvation Army. Employees and volunteers accepted the donation on behalf of the Salvation Army. - Provided

Christenson of God’s Blessings donated 150 pounds of ham and a variety of luncheon meats to the Ecumenical Food Shelf. Dorothy Simonsen accepted the donation on behalf of the food shelf. God’s Blessings has donated 18 tons of meat to those in need, food shelves and worthy causes of Freeborn County over a 65-month period, according to a press release. – Provided
