Gerald Leroy DeBoer died Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea.

Jerry was born April 15, 1943, in Albert Lea to Harold and Lena DeBoer (Terpstra). He grew up in Hollandale and attended school in Maple Island and Albert Lea.

On June 3, 1965, he married Linda Harmdierks and together they had three sons.

Jerry enjoyed welding toys, music, crossword puzzles, Yahtzee, fishing, softball and visiting with friends.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Linda; sons Todd (Kristie), Troy and Brad; grandchildren, Vanessa, Derek and Alyssa; sister, Barb (Dale) Jensen; sisters-in-law Joy Amys, Dar Anderson and Julie Bellinger; brothers-in-law,Virgil (Pat) Harmdierks, Gary Harmdierks and Larry (Penny) Harmdierks; and many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Zachary; and brother, Bob.
