Construction will begin this week on the Pioneer Park Shoreline Restoration project, according to a press release. The project will restore the lakeshore and improve lake habitat. 

The walking path near Pioneer Park will be closed during daytime construction and will reopen each evening after construction has been cleaned up. A detour will be in place from Lakewood Avenue to Lakewood Cemetery.
