Where are you from?

I was born in Storm Lake, Iowa, but grew up in Albert Lea.

If from Albert Lea, which elementary school did you attend?

Mostly Hawthorne.

Favorite teacher of all time and why?

Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Maier. They believed in me and kept pushing when I wanted to give up.

Favorite book/author:

“A Child Called ‘It’” by Dave Pelzer.

Current/past activities volunteer work and accomplishments: 

Currently in MAAP STARS at school. I used to play hockey and I recently got my CNA and work at St. John’s and Good Samaritan Society. 

What advice would you give to younger students in Albert Lea? 

Stop thinking that you’ve still got another day/week/year to do your work, because why dread on it when you could just do it? Waiting doesn’t do anything but let more stuff add on. You got this; have fun always.
