Area schools starting late

- Roads were completely covered in ice as of 5:30 a.m., according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Slippery roads are leading to late starts for area schools Tuesday morning.
Albert Lea Area Schools, Alden-Conger School, Glenville-Emmons School, Lake Mills Community School, Northwood-Kensett School and NRHEG School will start two hours late.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday listed all area roads as completely covered with ice.
