Dear Albert Lea Tribune,

Thank you so very much for your editorial about the traffic lights at Bridge and Hawthorne. This is a matter of grave concern for us who live near this intersection. It is our deepest wish that the City Council will heed these concerns and change the plans. I sincerely hope that it does not take an accident and/or injury to persuade our civic leaders that this light is necessary. I would also hope that our ward council members and mayor would be responsive to neighborhood concerns now, rather than waiting for when the next election cycle will allow us to express our feelings then.
