1 arrested for DWI

Police arrested Nicole Elaine Ellsworth, 28, for third-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 1:41 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of East Main Street and Prospect Avenue.

 

Dryer broken into, property damaged

Police received a report at 8:13 a.m. Friday of a dryer that was broken into overnight Thursday at Maytag Megaload Laundry, 2320 Hendrickson Road in Albert Lea.

Damage to property was reported at 7:50 a.m. Saturday at 519 Prospect Ave.

 

Juvenile cited after fight

A juvenile female was cited for assault and disorderly conduct after a reported fight at 1:09 p.m. Friday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.

 

1 arrested after reported assault

Police arrested Yann Lem, 63, after receiving a report of a woman who had been assaulted by a male at 6:07 p.m. Friday at 509 E. Main St.

 

Theft reported

Police received a report at 8:30 p.m. Friday of merchandise valued at $4,862 being taken from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Counterfeit bill reported

Police received a report of a $50 counterfeit bill at 10:05 p.m. Friday at 509 E. Main St.
