Thefts reported

Police received a report at 11:16 a.m. Monday of someone who had her checkbook, keys and jewelry taken from an apartment at 800 S. Fourth Ave.

A tire was reported stolen off of a van at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Madison Avenue. The value was about $100.

 

Bad internet sale reported

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 12:27 p.m. of a sale that had taken place over the internet, and the person received a check for an incorrect amount.
