Man arrested after threat with knife and other reports

Police arrested Jose Adan Mendoza III, 22, for second-degree assault and terroristic threats after receiving a report of a man threatening someone with a knife at 2:19 p.m. Monday at 202 Garfield Ave. He was arrested at Kwik Trip, 1210 E. Main St., and complied with officer’s requests.

Counterfeit bill reported

A replica $20 bill was reported at 1:57 p.m. Monday at 410 E. Main St.

2 arrested on warrants

Police arrested Sadie Jo Lewis, 31, on a Mower County warrant at 3:57 p.m. Monday at 917 S. Broadway.

Police arrested Adam Ly Haas, 27, on a local warrant at 11:12 p.m. Monday at 134 W. William St.

Juvenile cited for vape pen possession

A juvenile was cited for possession of a vape pen at 9:53 a.m. Monday at Albert Lea High School, 2000 Tiger Lane.

Theft reported

Multiple drills and hand tools were reported stolen at 6:07 a.m. Monday at 1715 Margaretha Ave.

Hit-and-run reported

Police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at 10:43 a.m. Monday at 116 S. Washington Ave. The damage was believed to have occurred on Thursday.

Facebook scam reported

Police received a report of a Facebook scam at 7:04 p.m. Monday on Ulstad Avenue.
