Harriet Della Wendt Nelson, 94, of Northwood died Monday, April 13, 2020, at Northwood Lutheran Retirement Home.

Harriet was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Glenville to Harry Wendt and Della (Louden) Wendt. She attended Glenville School and graduated from Albert Lea High School. She played in the high school band and continued her love of music, playing the piano.

Harriet was united in marriage in 1945 to Earl Nelson.

She was a beautician and owned her own shop in Northwood.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two sisters, Pauline Anderson Jacobson and Jeanette Offenhauser.
