Handgun missing

A 9-mm Taurus handgun was reported missing at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday at 1611 Broadway SE. 

 

Careless driving reported 

Police received a report at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday of a person in an older white GMC pickup who reportedly ran over the tip of a 6-year-old’s foot and cut other cars off on Shoreland Road about 30 minutes earlier. The person described the driver as high school age. 

 

Identity theft reported

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday of identity theft in Glenville.

Police cited Kyle Allen Childs, 31, for disorderly conduct and arrested him on an arrest and detain hold at 8:47 a.m. Wednesday at 323 E. Clark St.

A LG B60 dual screen phone valued at $1,000 was reported stolen at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday at 2526 Bridge Ave.

A juvenile was reported cited for underage drinking after a reported fight at 11:09 p.m. Wednesday on West Seventh Street.
