- The Albert Lea Hockey Association had an online fundraiser within their membership for the local food shelves. The association raised a total of $5,320, which was split equally between the Ecumenical Food Pantry and the Salvation Army Food Shelf. “The Albert Lea Community has been so generous to our hockey community over the years,” said Todd Ulve, association president. “In midst of all the shelter-at-home orders, we wanted to find a way to give back and help others in our community.” Pictured, clockwise, from top left, are Jamie, Allison and Brennan Folie; Donavan Wigfield; Andrew, Seth and Zach Tscholl; and Dakota and Penny Jahnke. - Provided
